Mechanics Hall - an acoustical masterpiece - is internationally regarded as one of the world's great concert halls for its superb acoustics and inspirational beauty. It is regarded regionally as Worcester's finest meeting place.

The Hall is a not-for-profit 501 (c ) 3 organization owned and operated by the Worcester County Mechanics Association (est. 1842). It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Great Hall, on the third level, is a magnificent room featuring a richly decorated coffered ceiling. Corinthian pilasters and balustrade balcony allow an unencumbered view of the stage from everywhere in the room. The Great Hall is considered an acoustic masterpiece, perfectly suited to music performance and recording.
